you aren't going to get a straight answer on this.

this comes down to what you like most. different people like different sounds.

personally I would say check out Hertz, Focal, Hybrid, Audison, Pioneer, Scanspeak, Morel, and the list goes on.

you need to go to a local shop and listen to as many as you can. you may be surprised and find yourself liking a cheaper than recommended set.

 

I myself just found out about Audison AV-K6 VOCE components. I just picked up a pair for $345.00. They sound like they are in the speaker catagory worth 4 times that much.
