Can I use 2 10" subs from different manufacturers
are you going to have 2 subs in one box?
if you are then have a wall in the box so the wave of one sub does not get to the other
i think i would run one sub and when i had the $ i would get a set of subs

If you were buying subs, I think everyone would say don't mix 'em up, but since you already own them, (I'm assuming that you can't afford to "do it right") then go for it.
If the boxes are sealed (very forgiving design if it's wrong) then your bass will already be relatively poor anyways (again assuming you don't have the power to push them to their limits).
Keep the woofers as close together as you can, to maximize the extra gain from the coupling effect, and don't worry about details like phase, or diferent roll-offs.
You car and install will likely be the weakest link (again assumtion) and once it's all together and broken in, you can visit your local shops, and get them to try some of their "good" subs in your system, and let your own ears decide if it's time to trade up.
Everything is relative, and so-so bass is infinitely better than no bass.

The only way you would be able to mix those subs is if you played them separately, looking at the response curves on an RTA. If the response curves, sensitivity and frequency range are the same you should be safe. But I doubt that will happen (hell, it's rare with two IDENTICAL subs)

However, using these subs together is a bad idea anyway.
The cancellation djflash is talking about will not result from positioning, but rather the differences in phase response.
