DLS or Focal? - new car and old equipment

So I recently imported a Soarer from Japan and it came with a focal component set. Not sure what model but they are 4", with a yellow cone and pointed black dust cap. I also have a set of DLS Iridium 6.2 from my previous install. The grill on the door is only a 4" whole, but many have installed 6.5" speakers in these cars. Should I install the DLS Iridiums or keep the Focals? Seems like a solid install was done for the 4".

My goals are to have pound in the chest midbass, and a solid SQ system. I want to go all out this time as I plan to keep this car for many years.

Any SQ guys in Kitchener that can help me plan this out?

I"d keep the 4" in there, and ad the 6.5" from the DLS set as a dedicate midbass, honestly my iridium 6.5" could not do midrange and midbass well at the same time.

i think you have k2 in/as your 4" i would add a 6 1/2 focal or your dls 6 1/2 with a 3way x-over like sqkid was saying

I dont have room for 3 drivers. My option is to install the DLS set or the Focal set.

I looked at the speakers on focal website. I am certain I have the 130 KP set. They are worth 500 new! wow.

So what do you guys think is the better set?

Either way is a win........... as both sets are very nice. I'm not sure how far down the 4" plays .............. but put it this way, keep the set you like and flip the other set. Either way you'll be good.

4's will do 125hz at moderate volumes - 200hz is a better suit for the 4's
