I pulled the trigger on a JL 450/4 v2

I'm going active and I suppose that will run the advertised 150x2 to my mids and since the tweets are 6-8ohm, they'll be getting 40-50 of the 75x2 from the C and D channels.

Should give me a good idea/experience of what I can expect from good headroom and active control.
