Dynaudio MK242 crossover points
I will break down the system.
H/U: Kenwood DNX 8120
Fronts: Dynaudio MK242 GT
Front amp: Image Dynamics Q4150
Sub: Image IDMax 12" Sealed 1.3 cubes
Sub amp: Orion HCCA 225r
Currently I am running the fronts active bandpassing the mids from
60hz-3.6k and the tweets 2.2k to roll off. Unfortunatley the HU does not have the ability to run 3 way so I have been bandpassing on the amp, it has worked great and have been very happy with it.
The issue now is I have acquired a US Amps TU4360 which has no crossovers.
I have the Dynaudio crossovers still and was thinking about running the tweet through the passive to protect the low end of the tweet, and setting the low end of the mid Via the H/U crossover and letting the mid high point just naturally roll off.
Or I guess just fully run the speaker system through the passives.
Opinions??
