I used to be a part of it until I realized that you don't need the best equipment to make a car sound good. I know I shouldn't be saying this as I'm in sales of high end product, but you don't need the BEST equipment to make a car sound really, really good. Don't get me wrong, you still need great equipment, so just get equipment thats higer end and sounds good to you ... then work with it and make it work for you.

I see a lot of people where I was a a while back (yes, I'm old) and I urge you people to get out of the equipment race and work on making the equipment work for you and save your money

just my $0.02

uhm.... sorry never heard of you, i guess its a good thing that you dont sell the best equipment beacause how would you sleep at night selling all that expensive gear, it would be a true injustice.

DING! (light goes on) Of course you don't. Glad to see someone else has come to that conclusion. Sad and silly thing there are countless others who don't get it and immidiately look to the highest priced gear figuring "if it's that much money, then it's got to be good". Some of those people though who buy it do find that it's better then lesser gear (like Adam). But some just scoff at other stuff because it isn't expensive enough (like some other CCA members). I have to agree. Spend most of your money on cables and the rest on amps and you will be fine ;)

if you apply the "best" gear in the most optimum application, should it not outperform not as good gear in its most optimum application?
