Experts help please for Pioneer head unit.
Hi everyone this is my first post. Looking seriously for your help.
Recent robbers theft my head unit from my car. I was having pioneer AVH-X5590BT double din DVD player. Now I want to buy only good player for best sound quality, I not concerned with DVD, lCD screen or booth tooth. I don't want to buy expensive double din player as I am scared that it can be robbed again. I tried two three basic pioneer single din DEH-1590UB, DEH-X3590UI, JVC KD-R736BT but the sound quality is non sense as compared to my theft pioneer head unit. Kindly suggest is there is vast difference in sound quality between single din and double din? If yes kindly suggest should I stick to double din only. If no kindly suggest which single din should I consider where I will get same sound quality like my earlier double din pioneer AVH-X5590BT. My system - Front components Focal performance series. Rear oval Focal Access. Amp 4 channel Focal Mono block lighting Audio Alpine subwoofer R-type SWR-12D4. Regards Murad |
the sound quality is all the same until you get into the high end stuff. If your always worried about getting robbed, just buy something cheap.

Pioneer P99 or Carrozzeria PO1 are the best all in one SQ HU's Pioneer or anyone offer for that matter.
I have a PO1 BTW, shameless plug. :) |
DEHP88PRS, awesome pioneer deck.... costs around the same as some double din units, but a lot more eq and sq features
|
The P99 -PO1 is 4X better than 88prs. 88PRS MSRP is $350 and the P99 MSRP is $1400 USD. PO1 is a JDM unit it costs even more because it's imported from Japan.
|
yeah it's 4x more expensive too..... doubt he'd be needing any of the extra features if he needs to ask what a good deck is.
|
He said he wants a unit for best sound quality, 88PRS is not the best.

^^ fair enough...... schooled :P
