Ok never tried a forum and not good with audio anything. I've always had systems and they always pounded so qhen I got my first truck a 2011 chevy avalanche I spent alot of money because I missed bass ect ect. I got the JL Audio stealthbox with 2 12inch TWS D8'S because i was told that was best option and now have JL Audio HD 750-1 amp. Unfortunately I've already burnt first set of subs and returned and got new ones witch are still smelling like rubber, upgraded amp to the jl 750 from original kenwood xr 1000 .But everything I've read is leading me to believe the bose factory head unit/ stereo is screwing up everything. Idk if I need a LOC or new head unit and if I do if it will even make a difference or if I should sell my stealthbox n get custom box with regular size subs. If a line out converter can fix bass rolloff, SQ, and make subs stop smelling like a they are gonna go on fire even if it was better by 20% I'd be happy with that. I play no where near distortion but nomatter what I do subs stink and sound like garbage after blowing almost 3000. Its the midgate stealthbox btw. Anyway ready to quit and sell all my so any help would be appreciated.
