Hey ppl. I need to get some suggestions for my setup.
My budget for the system is about $550cdn.

I currently run the Clarion DXZ835MP as my HU

I'm looking to get front components.
Rear speakers.
and a 4ch amp for the 4 speakers.
Due to trunk space and budget, this will be a subless setup.

For the front components, I'm considering CDT Cl-61a...
For rear speakers, I'm still contemplating over 6X9 or 6.5" (my car has 6X9 for stock)

and I have to decide on the speakers first before the amp.

I'm looking to achieve the best SQ as possible with this setup.

Any help from you SQ ppl is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

the group buy on this site should start ASAP.

I'd personally take 1 compoent set + one sub over your 4 speaker choice and no sub, a 4 channel amp would be the best bet with the speaker sub combo.

one 6.5 components set and a 10 or 12 inch sub would work.

what group buy is going on soon?

the problem is I lack trunk space. I'm only restricted to maybe a 8" sub...
thats the problem.

what do you drive?

94 camry.
I carry alot of stuff in my trunk to work and back. Unless it's a very small sub.

I agree with Icon's comments above. See if you can get a nice 8" or 10" subwoofer that will work well in a small sealed enclosure. you can easily mount it in the corner of the trunk with a grille.

or use the backseat

me I'd forget rear speakers leave the holes open to allow the bass in from the trunk when you get a sub ............

I'd skip the sub for now and get the nicest 6.5 components you can afford along a small amp for them

alright, I'll get the sub since everyone is agreeing with it heh. But like dodgeram said, I'll get the components and amp first before the sub...because this is a budget system....this is what I have decided:

ARCaudio KAR 265 (6.5" Components)
ARCaudio KAR 2100 (2x100W amp)

I need feedback plz, because it is so hard to find feedback on ARCaudio equipment especially speakers.

Thanks goes to Tom for giving me this suggestions.

ARC is a highly regarded company, never considered it a budget product though... closer to high end. They make (or rebadge) subs too.
