help with a new system

Hey guys, I am newon canadian car audio and to the car audio scene, so let me start out by saying hello! I have the following setup...

Car: 1997 Acura El
Sub: Alpine Type R 12 05 Model, in a ported box
Sub Amp: Alpine V12 M-605 , 600RMS @ 2ohm
Speaker Amp: Alpine V12 MRV-F345
Rear Speakers: Infinity 6913i
Front Speakers: Infinity Components 6010cs
HU: Pioneer Premiere 690UB

I want to go for a pure SQL setup, as i love cave in my chest bass rather then rattle my bowels bass. As i said, i am fairly new at this and am a sponge for any knowledge any of you want to bestow upon me. Right now, my car rattles like no tommorow, and was wondering how i can set it up for SQL. Thanks!

I would start with a couple hundred feet of sound deadner.

x2, at the very least seal and deaden your front doors, you would be amazed at the difference that can make.

by a couple hundred feet they mean square feet.

and yes its always a good idea. and give up the alpine gear lol. loud + good sounding sub is a w7. im a huge fan. real "kick u in the chest" bass that doesnt sound like garbage

i agree on the sound deadening material, i agree on the alpine gear give up, but depending on your budget, i think the w7 is more a fancy sub than a sq sub, i would use the w6 v2 or the w3 v3, the sound great in many arrangements without breakin your bank, if you have the space and the money go the w7 way.

cheers
