how good is the alpine dva-9861

how good is the alpine dva-9861

would this be a good sq deck ?

i tried the 9861 with ai net sounds suck.
but when i compare it vs 7990 with optical output i cannot tell the difference.
the only thing that i dont like from the deck is the screen and is not motories, feels cheap.
but alotttt of nice features.

I use one in my truck with the H701 and love it. I agree th non-motorized face is el-cheapo, but other than that it is awsome with the processor. Hooked up to my HLCD's there is zero noise problems, and even with the Ai-net connection I have no problems, I guess I lucked out.

Great deck for the price I paid...

motorized face = 1 more thhing to break.

9861 and any of the alpine DVD players all use the same mechanism and basically wil play any shiny disc. You do need to use a pXA-H701 to get the most out of it however

ok i was a bad boy
and now i just need to and the lcd for my kid

i do not like the decks with tv's in them but i needed something for my son
