HU and Processor recomendations

HU and Processor recomendations

I would like to run a full 4-way active system, 3-way up front + sub.
Hi - ID cd1pro's, Zapco ref350.2
Mid- ID cx62
Low- ID cx62 , Zapco ref1000.4 running mids and lows
Sub- ID 2 idq15's ,zapco ref1100.1
Any sugestions would help.Was looking at Alpine Dva-9861/PXA-h701, Pioneer P9 DEX/DEQ combo or possibly the clarion unit, Looking for good sq but dont wanna spent f1 status prices.Thanx

You cant go wrong with the alpine,but lots ahve good luck with the p9 also I guess it would come down to what the best deal is.

Alpine combo would be the easiest to get together. P9 seem to pop up here and there ocasionally along with drz.

I cant comment on the P9 because I never used one but I really like my 9860/h700 combo. I found it really easy to use and thats a big deal to me LOL.

I would try out the Clarion DRZ-9255 , going active directley from the deck . Less components ,less wiring , less noise . Plus time alignment on all 8 channels sounds sweet to me .

There are also a couple of Eclipse head units that will also do this task for you as well. A couple on clearout right now as they have just become last years model. Time alignment, 24bit d/a, 5 and 8 volt preouts, parametric equalization. Sounds like exactly what you need.

out of curiousity , what eclispe units have 8 preouts ?

None of them do . The 8053 at least has 8v preouts. Why not use one 8" with the horns instead of the 2 6.5's? Horns will play pretty low, won't they?

That could work good for midbass but stil need midrange.
