JL W3v3's

i just purchased 2 10 inch JL Audio W3 v3's (single 8 ohm) they are going to be running at 4 ohms parallel and taking in 250 watts RMS each. my question is, should i port them or go sealed? either way i want to go exactly to JL specs(unless suggested otherwise) Do these subs preform as far as SQ goes? will they hit the low notes decently? thanks for your help guys... im really looking forward to doing this install

Angry no more W7

so you gave up W7,so its useless for me now to show you the w7.theres a big difference between a w3 and w7.hope you just make the most out of it!i was even thinking to help you out of a HO box of the JL AUDIO.

I've got the same subs, a little more power and they sounded bad till i got them in the proper box (sealed), now they sound amazing (to me)

they will work well in a sealed or ported box.... so its pretty much a personal choice....

My vote is go ported...
