I'm looking for an amp that does what the title says, 1000wrms or more at 1 or 2 ohm, or both .. looking to pay about $250 max, I'm looking for sound quality/best bang for the buck, and I'm running out of ideas/brands to look into. I was considering the JL Audio 1000/1 but its a tad bit out of my price range. Any suggestions are welcome, thanks!

The Kenwood in there will do 900+ at 2 and 1 ohm but there's plenty of choices to choose from especially if you decide to go at 1ohm (the MB ONX amp is a great piece and the Hifonics Brutus is a powerhouse).

 

Funny, a thousand watts, 1ohm operation, and $250 or less doesn't sound anything like SQ requirements to me
