Exclamation Looking for some advise or suggestions on a good sq sub

Im currently running

Clarion dxz 835mp HU
Focal V1 3 ways components
Jl Audio VR 5x7's coax
Focal 4.75 amplifier
Focal 1.800 amplifier
Stinger 1 farad cap
stinger 4ga power and ground
Monster Cable Ultra low noise Rca's

OK i currently have a fosgate hx2 12'' sub, just for some bass for now.
Im looking to get a pure sq sub(s), i dont really know a size yet i just kno it i want it to be for sq. I was thinkin ether a focal 13'' 33a or a focal 16'' 40a.

If anyone has any seggestions or kno of any really good sq subs out there id really like to kno, cause im really just out to get the best possible sound i can get.

What car do you have, where will the sub be positioned, and how much space are you prepared to sacrifice?

And budget?

i have a 95 ford escort but plan on getting a 93 accord 4dr in a month so id would be for the accord, as far as where the sub gets positioned i doont really care, where ever it will sound best, and space ant really and essue, nether is buget really. I spent $700 on just the door speakers so to spend around that on a sub is fine by me

ID Max. Great low bass extension, very tight and dynamic in a sealed enclosure. My favourite

Single PG cyclone and 2 DD1508 for mid bass from 60Hz to 90Hz.Cyclone wont play over 10% distortion and most subs start around there.Or you can go with a velodyne servo sub with a max of 1%.No other drivers have been tested as low

I love this sub as well. Great mix of tonality, efficiency, and output.

well thankx for everyones input so far!!! As far as the pg subs im not really to much into pg stuff, iv even herd of there reps not liking it. I really likke those id max subs tho, i cheacked them out, there quite pricey and iv never herd of them or one before so any more info would be nice. And the focals were oviously my first choice, and a few guys have told me that there very good sq subs, but that they require a big box even for sealed, but one question i do have is, would a 16" focal be good for sq or would it be better to go with a smaller sub like a 11'' or 13''? Also if any one has any info on dyma subs iv also herd there good for sq and any other subs that r good please let me kno!!!!!!! Thankx again to everyone that replyed so far.
