Looking for a subwoofer, Something cheap.

I already have the amp picked out for my fronts and for a subwoofer.

http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/online/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=15

I want to push 100watts x 2 on the front components and bridge the sub so it gets 200watts on channel 3 & 4, I can just set the amp to 3 channels.

I'm looking for a cheaper sub, Probably under $150. Something that is pretty basic.

I know $150 isn't that much, But I just want a 10" in a sealed box for some decent SQ.

Any suggestions?

image dynamics 'IDQ'.

amazing SQ, you can get then for 150, and it should be ok on 200 watts and will be perfect for a small sealed enclosure

should pair up nicely with the morels.

find yourself a 6channel and go active with those morels. your deck has time alignment, you'd make some huge gains with going active, and adding a sub.

Check the for sale section, somebody was selling image dynamics idq 10", brand new for good prices. He might still have a few...as mentioned above, it would be perfect for your application. With 200 watts bridged from a 4 ch...you'll want an efficient, 4ohm (most likely) sub. These are typically the entry level models, SQ is usually just as good as the higher end models, but they can't handle as much power or have all the extra heavy duty features...therefore the lower price.

SSA DCON 300W RMS for $100.

If you have a liiiitle bit more power (300Wish), a discontinued Eclipse SW8000, because it's an LMS-motor that doesn't roll-off at 60-70hz like most sealed 10's. 1 cube has an FC of something like 40-50hz.

Get a sub that'll have a lower FC.

alpine type-r's are great low end subs, and can be had for cheap on local sites (craigs/kijiji?|)

another option that's very close to that $150 mark is the CSS SDX10
