just curious on what opinions everyone has on the most musical
4 channel top end (mid,tweet) amp would be....(150w rms x 4)
price doesn't matter
what would you choose?

TRU makes a very nice amp...wish i could have one, but a bit of conflict.

Focal amps are also nice, Audison mid to high end amps are nice, but pricey.

You might want to check out STEG, very cool amps, they even have a pure class A amplifier.

If I was on a budget, I would look for a reputable manufactures amplifier that has bipolar output transistors....something like Precision Power ( PPI)

I can't think of a high end amp that does 150x4

the biggest genesis does 4x50 @ 4ohm
zapco c2k is 4x100 @ 4ohm
can't think of an audison that does it either....
mac doesn't either that I know of...hmmmm

 

you don't get it, those sq 50 watts will murder any cheap chinese made 200w .

 

ohhhh, UK watts = 4 north american watts?....cool
