Need help identifying un-opened shop roll of Deadener
Saw a shop roll at a local dealer and need help identifying it.
-70sq ft -"Quiet Car" label -cardboard cylinder w/ plastic white caps stapled to cylinder. dealer said it was Brown Bread, which of course is now called B-Quiet. any thoughts? cheers Thanks. |
I recall a certain container that looked just like that... my bet is on brown bread...
|
Brown Bread and B-Quiet are different products made by different companies. B-Quiet did sell Brown Bread for a while though in addition to it's own products.
My bulk pack of Brown Bread came in a carboard cylinder with white end caps as described. |
Nice.. so is brown bread good? Is it "melty?"
it's interesting that they say "Note: Brown Bread has been replaced with B-Quiet Ultimate" maybe they bought up the other business? |
B-quiet as a retailer replaced the brown bread product, which they did not manufacturer, but purchased 3rd party. With B-quiet ultimate as it;s substitution in their line up.
Brown Bread works great, but in extreme heat it can melt. |

Car is dark grey... Made sure surfaces were properly prepped before applying, but that should be standard procedure regardless of what brand is used... HTH. Cheers! |
I have multiple layers in my doors. Car is dark metallic grey and it's been in there since2004 with no problems.
|
4 rolls of brown bread in my car for the past 4 years (black) not a problem, love the chit.
