New system suggestions???

So the time has come for me to sit down and do some research on what kind of speakers, subs, amps, and HU to get to make the system of MY dSreams instead of playing around with different gear trying to make it sound the way I want it.. So I have a 1998 Honda Accord (4-door). Right now I have 3-way speakers, front and back, powered by a clarion 120W amp. In the trunk is a 15" Clarion sub, powered by a monster Clarion mono 800WRMS amp. My HU is a Pioneer DH5000? or something like that. So, the sub pounds and thats what I like, buts I think its WAY too much for the trunk of my accord. I used to have it in a 4 runner so the bass was more free to flow if you know what i mean.

For the new system I would like to run 2x12" subs. Preferably ones that can rattle my brain when I feel like it but also hit those clean mids along with the deep lows. I'm open to any suggestions here... If you could match them with an amp to, that'd be awesome.

For speakers I know I want 6.5" components up front. For the back, I'm open to any suggestions. Also, maybe a 4 channel to power them?

As for the HU, I was wondering if I could save some $$ and just keep the one I'm using now? Or would it be worth sinking the extra $300?

I'm also interested in wiring suggestions? and power supply? As of now I have what I'm using on a 4 gauge power with a 1.5 cap, and it's not doing much for the alt.

Any suggestions will be appreciated!!! i know its kinda of much for me to ask, but I'm not one who really knows what I'm doing when it comes to this sorta thing. So i'm asking the experts:smilie_da

1) Do you have a budget for the system?
2) Who is doing the install?
3) Who is building the sub box?
4) Would one high output 12" work or do you prefer two?
5) What time frame are you looking to solve this in?

JBL 660 GTI for the front, p963 6x9's for the back, and 2x JBL 12 GTI subs in a sealed or ported enclosure (depends on your space). Powered by Rockford p400-4 bridged to 2 channels @ 200x2 for the front, p 200-2 for the rears 2x 100(running in 2ohm mode as the 963's are 2ohm), and a Power 20001bd for the subs (2000 watts @ 1ohm since the two JBL's will give a 1.5 ohm parallel load). Upgrade your alternator to 200 amps, yellow top battery, 00 awg power and ground, 12 awg speaker wires for the full range, and 8 awg for the subs. Get an Alpine or Eclipse top of the line head unit and have it professionally installed including full sound deadening of all surfaces. It will sound like a rock concert with about 2200-2400 watts rms....You're welcome! It'll cost a lot, but it's what i'd do if i was doing a new system except I'd use 2 x15" gti's, and a 4000 watt RF amp.
