No RBE option on sony deck

First off not sure if in right sub forum, but I have a Sony CDX-GT575 UP. I want to access the rbe option, but it is not available. I know its under sound, but isnt there. According to the manual, you need position on and output set to rear-out, but I also do not get a rear/sub option, so I can not do this. I contacted sony support and they said the issue was above them. I did disconnect the connections and negative terminal to try to factory reset it and still nothing. Also I did buy the deck new and in the box. Any help will be much appreciated.

what is the rbe option? also most decks with only two sets of rca's have a menu when the unit is off that you can get to to change the rear rca output from ful to sub and vice versa

think you can get to that menu by holding the audio/mode button down whilst the unit is off
