Phoenix Gold RSD65cs Components wattage?

I just purchased a set of Phoenix Gold RSD65cs components and will be running them off a Rockford Fosgate 300x amp (I know, its old, but still good :smilie_da)

I was wondering if 37.5x2 watts RMS per channel is going to be enough for these components, or would I be okay/better off with bridging them and running them at 150x2 watts RMS?

I'm not sure if that is too much power, I could also run these active and run 37.5 watts RMS to each speaker, however I do not have an external equalizer.

This is a purely SQ setup and the sub/HU are as follows:

Image Dynamics IDQ v3 10"
JVC NX5000 HU

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

You're asking a very specific question... This is refreshing :smilie_da I am unfamiliar with PG's speaker line, but from what I can find, these components should handle somewhere around 60wrms

Try both and see what you prefer. Although I don't think I see what you would be using as an active xover to go active.
fosgate amps don't usually have xovers that go up to 4khz or so and I think your deck is a video deck that won't have those capabilities.

I think you would be happiest by bridging that amp to those comps. Make sure to crossover them highpass at around 80hz and you should have no problems.
