Polk Audio SR series Sub?

Hey guys i just wanted to know what ur opinion is on

Polk Audio SR104

I was looking into getting these, and i heard that the subs are good, but are the speakers?

There is a guy on the Polk forum (Macleod) that competes with all Polk and does quite well. I believe he placed 2nd in the world finals.

Personally I would go with the SR5250 up front and the MM1040 subs.

AAAAAA has the MM 8" subs and likes them.

I have judged Macleod and he sounds great, though you must remember there is more to good sound than equipment. But equipment that CAN sound good/ real is essential

I would say that despite your choice between any Subwoofer, what will make it work "properly" will be the Cabinet. So if you build the right cabinet ANY subwoofer will do well..,for what you pay.
Cabinet will make it or break it!
