quality 6.5 components on a budget

looking to by some new speakers
anyone got any ideas on some good quality 6.5 components on a budget?
say around 200 or less

MB Quart has a quote respectable 6.5" component speaker in this price range. The new Formula series has been a solid performer for us.

try finding used focal component, seen the k2's go as low as 250.

I bought the pioneer premiers the tsd720c's for 118 at visions and they sound quite nice. they usually have them on sale for that which is right at cost. go check them out and talk to gavin at the langley store

I got Infinity Reference 5020cs they're only 5 1/4's but they sound great. I'm driving them with 90W rms from a JBL power series amp. I don't have much to compare them to though. Bought them on ebay under $200 with shipping from the US to Canada. The 6 1/2's will be about $10-$20 more on ebay.

Morel, Focal, Hertz, or AVI...nothing else is worth spending money on...if you're not willing to spend 600.00 minimum, stay with the oem system....lol...just goofing, although you're sure to get some numbnut tell you essentially that. I actually like the JBL GTO and Power components in that price range, i find that they have decent tonality, full sound with fatter bass than most in this class, and sound good overall.

It all depends on where you want to install them too. Some 6.5" are stupidly deep and not advertised properly 6.75" instead of 6.5", like the Premier 720's. Many times, they won't fit into a factory spot without modification.
What kind of vehicle do you have and where do you want them installed? Front doors? Tweeters in the factory location or on the dash? Pillars?
