Question about adding an additional sub?

I currently have a Kicker 300.1 mono amp running a single Kicker Comp VR 10" 4 ohm in a ported custom box, everything works great. Now my question, I would like to add another of the same.
1) will this amp power two 10" DVC 4 ohm subs if not
2) will it power two Kicker Comp VR 10" 2 ohm subs or
3) do I have to get a new amp in order to run two 10"
4) will a Kicker 400.1 mono amp be able to if the 300.1 won't?
Thanks
any suggestions would appreciated

This amp is stable to 2 ohms. You can run two single VC 4 ohm subs on it and be getting twice the power out of your amp as u are now. That's basically double the power, double the subs as you are running now. Make sure u have the EXACT same box for the second sub, as far as interior volume goes.

Two DVC 4 ohm subs will end up wired to an amp at 4 ohms or 1 ohm in the most common configurations. 150rms watts is not much power to run two subs (or even 1 sub) and running at 1 ohm could damage your amp or at least set it into protection mode.

Neither amp will run two, dual 4ohm VC subs. They are both stable to 2 ohms. They will not run a pair of single 2 ohm subs either. If you're gonna upgrade subs you'll need to upgrade power. Run a DVC 4 ohm sub on it's own 2 ohm stable amp and you might be in the right ballpark. 300rms to a sub is decent.
