woudl somethign liek taht be usefull to line the inside of your box with? its like 3 bucks a can at walmart and thought it woudl be a good sealer, deadener for boxes as its in a nice spray can. anyone try and use it ??

I have my h/t sub box sprayed with a similar product (I think. Mini-Steve and Xiphoid did it). It isn't really a very thick or heavy product. I don't think that it would do a very good job at deadening. I just sprayed my box for some protection and so it was covered with something else other then mdf. Now that I think about it, it was so thin that it didn't cover a small screw hole that was in the mdf from before. Hope this helps.

3M rubberized coating
As a box sealer it is not very good compared to other products

As a sound dampener it is not as good a other products

Yes I have, and am, using it. Yes I would use it again for mids or tweets. It is inexpesive, it looks GREAT, it does perform to a certain extent. But I like the way it looks mainly

It also is great at shows to dress the wheel well and make it all black and pretty for the judge
