Would be a waste of money anyways IMHO.
When they get released (which is only a matter of time) they will be WAY overpriced and their performance will be no better than a high-end CD player. Might as well put a DVD player in there because their audio capabilities are just as good as SACD (for all intensive purposes) and you can play DVDs. Or, put a laptop in there with a good soundcard and rip your SACD audio onto it an play them.

As I understand it SACD is a Sony technology and will be marketed as a rival to DVD-Audio...
There will be quite a few DVD-Audio capable source units for car audio coming out at CES 2004... personally that's what I'll be buying next .
Panasonic was the first to come out with a DVD-Audio head last year, everyone else should have one this spring.
