single Sealed 10 vs sealed 12

The 12 will play louder and lower than the 10...I too like sealed will lots of power. The 12 will play below 30 hz, alot better than a 10 sealed. I listen to alot of old rock, I prefer 10s for every day listening, but 12s sound better!

Installation of the driver is so critical. Hard to say what's the best in-car until you get the installation issue addressed. We can talk specs all day until we're all blue in the face, but once the driver is in the car, installation is ultimately the critical component.

Next, you'd be surprised how much output a 10" has when done rite. I always like to go back to portable boom-boxes as an example. The output on those can be substantial. Ever look at the shiate little drivers they are using ??????? Having good equipment is important.......... but more important is having the knowledge of how to install it properly to make it work.

i like 10s but to get the spl that i need out of platinum blonds greatest hits i must say go with the 12. remember blow Dukks mind seal your box!! lol
