Hey guys need a little help I have 3 sets of speakers to choose from and am not sure which to use so I thought maybe a few opinions might be helpful so please don't hold back

1) phoenix gold ti elite 5 1/4 components

2) focal k2 power 6 1/2 components

3) Kaption audio mpt 6.5 components

the other variable is I have an old set of usd bc3 wave guides that I was thinking about matching with one of the woofers above I also have a ranes 3 way crossover and Alesis eq to go with them for tuning
......so what do ya think.....BTW I like sound quality but at really loud levels but everthing must sound natural

 

Focals all the way. they have a few series of the k2 but all are amazing the tweet is spectacular on the 165 krx2's.

 

USD Waveguides ................ I haven't heard anyone talking about those in YEARS. You must be old.

 

^ I have a brand new set of A7.0s waiting for if I ever get back to working on the Hearse. They fit under the dash like they were made for it..

 

you were made for the hearse too but in a different way

 

have you heard each set in a similar setup? it's the only way to determine what you like ...

 

I remember the days when wave guides came out and were all the rage. I had a set of the Image Dynamics ones (can't remember which), but never ended up using them.

Wave guides = fad, kinda like Paul's leg warmers from Flash Dance ?!??!?!?!?
