narrowing it down to 4 options
1- the car chosen
2- enclosure placement and construction
3- how you tune
4- quality of equipment

these factors make the biggest difference as to the outcome of a good sounding vehicle.
in your opinion whats the most important to be successful in SQ

If by "enclosure placement and construction" you mean install...that is my choice. Tuning is second. With skills in those two areas you can make most any car sound good. Having an install friendly car and good equipment only makes the other two that much easier.

as in realestate,,, its placement placement placement... but no matter how good the placement is without good tuning its gonna sound like arc audio..

Installation is always the first thing to look at from a realistic point of view. If you have the option of picking any car, you installation options can open up. Building proper kicks or pillars or whatever is nice, but having a car that can give you better installation options would be great. In your poll, I selected installation as the most important part of the puzzle. This is just from a realistic point of view.
In my case, I can make my car work for me by rebuilding the dash. This isn't something many people are willing to do.
Your truck has some nice acoustic traits that you can manipulate if you work your installation correctly. Think outside the box a little.
Ignore Goalie 35 and his ARC comments. He seems to dislike a lot of gear that you and I are both using.

it was more to help new people decide what is most important.
plan to pretty much keep it the same, just going to widen the tweets and reangle the mids and lockdown the 6 inchers. didnt really tune it the last 2 years. for myself i am stuck with a s-10 pick up.

A good vehicle is always a good start. But most people will work with what they have and not go out and buy a car just for it's acoustics/install options. So for most people, installation is key, then product quality, then the car, then tuning. Tuning is in essence to correct speaker placement and vehicle acoustics.

I find that many people slap an install together and comment "We'll just add more time alignment later, it'll fix it right up" and such.

with pretty much any vehicle built in the last 10 years, installation options for daily driving are limited since most vehicles have dash, as well as a-pillar airbags which are not legally removable.
