Sq system

Hello everybody actually my setup is...
Front; infinity perfect (6.5)
Amp: Jl audio 450/4
HU: eclipse cd5000
Subs: 2x CSS SDX10 (sealed)
Amp: DLS ultimate A3

I'm looking for upgrading my system but I'm not quite sure with what I should go. I got two real option for now,
1) diamond audio HP650 + diamond audio D662
2) CDT ES-620z + CDT HD-62z
3) anything that you suggest me

I would be open to any suggestion that you thing might sound better. I have a budget of 800$ and the setup goes into a corolla 2003 CE.

Have a look at Morel speakers as well. Morel ® Loudspeakers Morel are the speakers that I recommend when I have a customer wanting a major upgrade in tonal response. Have a look at the Tempo 6 for the rear and the Dotech Ovation 6 for the front.

I've never really heard something from Morel, you thing that I should go with Morel over CDT or Diamond audio ? I'm looking for something with some great midbass that will be able to handle at least the 150w rms of my jl audio 450/4.

Morel speakers have some of the largest voicecoils in the car audio industry. Voicecoils in the Dotech series are 2 1/8" and use 6 sided aluminum voice coils to maximize the number of windings and their ability to dissipate the heat generated. A side benefit to this is a increase in efficiency and it raises the power handling of the speaker. I will be happy to provide a quote on Diamond to you as well. As far as CDT goes, yes I am a dealer but have never ever ordered in any of their speakers. Personally, in the last 22 years I have been at this, Morel will be going into my vehicle this spring. Been too long without a system myself.

To be honest I don't really know what is the advantage of being passive over active. Right now I'm passive, but it's not very difficult to install my next setup in active. I've heard of many DIY setup but I wasn't sure if I should go that way because I don't really know what type of woofer should go with that type of tweeter should I use.

This seems to be quite interesting, would I need to change my head unit for a better one, because I don't think I am able to do adjust the crossover individually with my cd5000.
