Sq system
Hello everybody actually my setup is...
Front; infinity perfect (6.5)
Amp: Jl audio 450/4
HU: eclipse cd5000
Subs: 2x CSS SDX10 (sealed)
Amp: DLS ultimate A3
I'm looking for upgrading my system but I'm not quite sure with what I should go. I got two real option for now,
1) diamond audio HP650 + diamond audio D662
2) CDT ES-620z + CDT HD-62z
3) anything that you suggest me
I would be open to any suggestion that you thing might sound better. I have a budget of 800$ and the setup goes into a corolla 2003 CE.

Have a look at Morel speakers as well. Morel ® Loudspeakers Morel are the speakers that I recommend when I have a customer wanting a major upgrade in tonal response. Have a look at the Tempo 6 for the rear and the Dotech Ovation 6 for the front.

Morel speakers have some of the largest voicecoils in the car audio industry. Voicecoils in the Dotech series are 2 1/8" and use 6 sided aluminum voice coils to maximize the number of windings and their ability to dissipate the heat generated. A side benefit to this is a increase in efficiency and it raises the power handling of the speaker. I will be happy to provide a quote on Diamond to you as well. As far as CDT goes, yes I am a dealer but have never ever ordered in any of their speakers. Personally, in the last 22 years I have been at this, Morel will be going into my vehicle this spring. Been too long without a system myself.

there are many benefits of active over passive, the main reasons are flexebility of x-over points and the lack of inherent insertion loss and phase shift associated with passive designs.....as well with alot of headuniuts these days you can time align and level control your woofer, midrange/midbass/tweeter from each other as well as stagger x-over points and slope................i have quite a bit of experience with various solen products, if you are interested i would gladly help you with choosing a good set of speakers that will suit your needs........all these speakers can be p[urchaed through solen direct as they are authorized online retailers of all the speakers they sell so you can buy with confidence that you will be taken care of if a problem should arise

why pay for passives when they degrade sound, are inefficient and give you very little flexibility.....alpine makes a great deck the cda9887 that will do everything you want....i also think the cd7000 if your hell bent on eclipse does the same thing.......we could build you a great set of speakers 800 if you want to go active
