Well I went to visions today to look at some decks and narrowed it down to 2. Basically i'm looking for the best sq and best output but I also want bluetooth built in or compatible usb or ipod port and a cd player. The two I came up with are the alpine or the clarion. I can't tell you specific models right now since I should have written them down but didn't. I'm thinking the alpine for sq but just wanted to double check. Any help would be great or a reccomendation, i'm going to check a few other stores before I decide so yes. Thanks

 

personnaly as for sq i like my clarion better than my alpine deck

 

well thats a step in the right direction. it's cheaper and has bluetooth already so I wouldn't have to get it extra. thanks

 

Clarion will be cheaper quite a bit, Alpine accessories will step up the bill. SQ is comparable, so you can go for a better deal.

 

That was exactly my thought, is there any difference in power output?? So if I want good subs should that be a factor in which I pick??

 

By the way the product for the clarion is MAX685BT and the alpine is IVAD106. I'm not sure if that's the alpine but it matches what I saw at the store the best

 

You should not be concerned about power ratings of the head unit at all. Between these two models Clarion is much better. It also plays Divx where Alpine probably does not. To me a no brainer here.

 

I agree, I thought you needed a deck with good power output to run additional things?? Or is that more the amp side of this?
