Two Amps or One?
I have:
Kenwood Deck KDC-MP925 22x4 w RMS
Kenwood Comp KFC-XR601 2-45 w RMS
MTX Amp Thunder 502 2-channel:
2 Ohm Load 180 w x 2
4 Ohm Load 90 w x 2
Bridged 4 Ohm Load 360 w
MTX 8512 - 250-500 w RMS
I need to know if I should use my deck to power my components; use my amp to power my components and my sub; use my amp to power components and get a mono amp for the sub. I would prefer to use my deck for the components but I want to get the most out of them so if I have to I can buy another amp if the one I have can't power them and my sub. If it is necessary to get two amps how do I connect them?

Use your MTX for your front end and buy a small mono amp for your sub....
For daily driving a great deal of people are turning their CD players so high that they are distorting the front speakers....what they are trying to do is make their front end keep up with the back end (balanced system)...
The only way to do this is put a small to medium amp on the front end......for the best sound quality put a huge two channel on the front end and turn the gains down....have a ton of headroom...sweet

I use one MTX 40 watt amp for my whole system right now, and it sounds okay(except for the crappy front stage).
I would just use the MTX 502 in a mixed mono configuration until you can afford another amp.(just don't forget to use a pasive crossover on your sub)
