type r's or Punch HX2

what do you guys think???..the Alpine Type R's or the RFD Punch HX2's??? both 12's

and what amp?...like whats better sound???better for the money???

oo tough choisce ive heard both . only difference was one was 3 10" hx2 and 1 was 2 12" type -r's and teh hx2's were in a demo car. i foudn the hx2's to be nice and tight. and the12 type rs did hit quiet low and took alot of power.

both ways as long as you build the proper box i think youd be happy. me id pick the cheaper one heh

Whichever you get the best price on.
If they're the same price I would get the Type R's.

Depends which HX2 and for what application.
The higher end 31XX series likely would outdo the R SPL-wise, but the R might have better SQ for the loudness level it provides.
You may have to hear them side by side to determine that.
