Here is my dilemma. I have 2 Infinity Kappa 10" subs which call for .75 cubic foot per sub sealed which is what I have. I want to mount my subs basket out. Since the .75 includes the woofer displacement i will actually have a larger enclosure than called for. How will this affect my sound?

 

its gonna be fine. i wouldnt see any difference with just .05cubes different.

 

Yup I agree .05 will not make any noticable difference whatsoever. Mount em up and have fun.

 

is that all the subs displacement is??? Then That's ok. Now how do you mount them backwards without bending the ring on the basket when you tighten the screws down?

 

at work i wanted to mount those 10's upside down but i said screw it cause you have to take off the plastic ring around it lol.

post a pic to help out other that doesnt know how the ring looks like
