Id look for a JL 12wo and put it in a good sized box... should give substantially more bump with 200wrms.... a 15 would be even better...

I guess any other sub 12" or larger with alittle more xmax would be nice...

does seem a little weak, but hey, i use something similar during the winter so that i don't have a lot of weight in my trunk, but then for summer i go all out. but as long as it gets the job done, some bass is better then none.

how do you find the port size ?

also how can i get better with out geting bigger?

what i have is a spot that can be 5"x11"x24"-28"
the sub is a 27h focal
the 5" top will have a 3/4 mdf so the sub sits on it the inside will be 5"
the side will be glassed in also the back too

the main speakers will be 165k2ps

what kind of sub is that, 46 hz for an FS is really high.
