thanks everyone for their opinions so far!

cheers

I also find i have a 'sweet-spot' range at about 38-44 volume (out of 50) with my current setup. while everything is clean up to max volume it still sounds the best in that range, minimal fatigue is a big factor to me in having 'great sound'.

hope this makes more sense:)

thanks for the input,

sorry that should read "true statement", not try statement

Some of you guys should come out to an IASCA SQ competition next year. Once the cars are judged, pretty much any of the competitors will let anyone hop in their rides and have a listen.

I went to my first local competition this summer in hopes of checking out what SQ should sound like (i worked that day and ended up coming late, missed most of the SQ), but even though they hosted a pretty nice SQ comp alongside the SPL it just seems no-one (atleast around here) is interested in it, it's all SPL which i almost couldn't care less for. the last local comp i went to didn't have any SQ at all, was fairly disappointed. :(

A good system should sound.. Realistic, Musical, Dynamic, and presents a lifelike Holographic soundstage. :)
