What companies make 16 volt batteries besides kinetik and powermaster ?

 

look at trying to get 8V batteries and wiring them positive to negative. i cant rememebr what the wiring is off the top of my head, but like four 8V give you 16V or something like that. i'm sure someone who's SPL oriented can explain it better.

 

2 x 8v battery's wired series gives you 16v......(us battery's) reasonably priced, cheeper than powermaster or kinetik, and pack a big punch

 

i use 10 of them for a pair of ab 500.1's

I was thinking about doing this already, I did'nt know how well these batteries would work. I'm going to try to find some here in alberta.

 

This might be a dumb question, but if a happy alternator is running around 14.5 volts, how does a 16 volt battery get fully charged in a vehicle?

 

a battery charger, or an alternator with adjustable regulator........and 8v us battery's rock

i think theyre like 120-140 bucks each , but i think its cheaper if you buy alot of them like 10 or more
