Hey, this pathfinder has the 1994 patherfind wiring in it.

I put in a new deck, and the suv has an internal amp because the stock deck did not have an amp.

So, I want to know how to bypass this so that I can actually use the volume on my new deck past 4.

If you have any ideas please let me know. Thanks

run new speaker wires into the doors

the amp is usually in the right rear quarter panel at the top back

Yep, I found the amp the other day.

I was wondering if there was some way to bypass it with out running all new wires?

metra may have a amp bypass harness or you could rewire it at the amp all you input and output wires will be there

If the factory amp has a gain turn it way down . . . but I'm guessing that it doesn't have a gain because it was designed for that HU.
Other possibilities:
Line converter - takes your speaker level and drops it to RCA level.
On the amp, figure out what is signal in and signal out, then simply by-pass the amp by connecting the incoming signal to the out going. -The draw-back is that this would probably require cutting the wires.
Hope something works out.
