2 amps 1 headunit? Help me

So i was thinking about adding a second amp for my speakers but i cant figure out what to do about the RCA's. My HU has only one subout thingy
how could i wire 2 RCA's on one input? can i use the 1male 2 female Y's connection to hook up one amp on one and same with the other?
I want to know what you think about it

I use 2 Y Cables in my car as the AVH-P4000 only came with two pairs of outs, Stereo and Sub and I haven't had any issues so it should be fine.

My only suggestion is that you use a healthy amount of electrical tape on all your connections as Y-cables are infamous for wiggling loose due to them typically hanging a bit from where the amplifier is installed.

Or you could use something like a 2 way electronic crossover. I have one made by MTX, it has R/L input and 2 x R/L output (one pair for mids/hi's and another for subs)

lots of options y-splitters are the simplest and work well. Depends on what you want. If you want fader control, then you can get an rca dual amp balancer (1 rca input to 2 rca outs), you can get a graphic eq with f/r/sub out, crossovers/sound processors etc.. or an amp with rca outputs built in (deck to amp, amp out to other amp).

The only issue with this solution is sometimes you want the signal to remain the same rather than crossing anything over.

Which was my issue. I needed the second set to mimic the front for the rear speakers which are full range while I already had the Sub outs from the HU.

But, depending on your circumstance one of these two are a definitive solution.

I would like to keep the spending low. I would go with the Y's splitter but would it affect my speaker amp as i play with the headunit setting? like the subwoofer + or -?

You have to keep in mind that the parent RCA's will send the exact same signal to the Y cables, so if you change the settings for one you change it for both.
