2 channel 2 ohm amp to 1 dual 4 ohm subwoofer

hey i am having trouble finding out better ways to wire up this sub for a cheap install im doing. i have a 2 channel 2 ohm (shaker ska800?) amp which will be powering a pioneer TS-W1207D4 12" dual 4 ohm sub. i have found a variety of ways to hook this sub up but then keep hearing that they cant be done.. its not making a lot of sense to me either. so im just wondering if i can just run each channel to each voice coil + and - or if i should bridge it series or parallel? thanks you guys (BTW, i do not have the sub yet, its on its way, or else i would have just tested it. but im still curious lol).

Main wiring diagram page:
xxx.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp

pick how many speaker and what the coils ohm load is and it will show you the only 2 ways you can wire a single sub
your sub configuration:

the + and - that have no wires get wired to each other

good luck

easy. + from ch1 and - from channel 2.
most stereo amps are made to be bridged.
But your sub has to be wired for 8 ohm's because in bridged mode, your amp won't do 2 ohms. You'd be better off to get the sub in daul 2 ohm, or a mono amp for 2 ohm.
