2 Hidden 8's vs 1 visable 10"
I did an install like the one posted above a while ago but used on 10" instead. If I was to do it again I would have used a ID8. it was a ton of work to get a 10" inside the spare tire rim and the goal for the particular set up was SQ.
8's just look bad ***!!! and its great when you destroy some kids "big" stero with just a few 8's, haha.

they will also play IB
i have a 2000 escort i am going to put 8's where the 6x8(5x7) speakers were with a couple tweeters the kicker 8s are what i am shooting for.
they are shallow have good frequency response and decent power handling.
and will fit in the spot with out a ton of modifying.
