Can anyone let me know how to remove the dead pedal on a 2002 Camry... I did not see any visible fasteners when I took a quick look earlier.

If I remember this right, its just a bolt coming from the floor, and plastic fastener built in, give it a good tug(don't rip it off,) It should give enough leeway! I know that my dead pedal in my car is just a plastic clip and you have to pull fairly hard and it will come off!! (they are just pushed on)
