2002 Ford Escape - Din Removal Tool
Anyone have a Din tool I can borrow? Or know of a way to get the factory radio out without it? :P LoL
Thanks! Looking to do this ASAP. :) I'll buy you a coffee! :D |
I have them, just drive on out here and they are all yours.... find yourself 4 small nails that fit in the holes....
|
How about we meet part way? I'll go as far as Calgary. :P I'll be there Sunday. LoL.
I'll give the 4 nails a try and hope for the best! |
Pics just for shits n giggles. Never heard of a din tool?
|
i remember those!
use to use a coat hanger cut and bent in a u shape. make two. place them in the holes and push outwards (or was in in) while pulling the deck out.. worked every time back when i had a Xord. refuse to use the "F" word here. hehe |

K wiseguys! I wasn't sure if something like that would work or if there was something special that happens inside :P
|
if its anything like taking the factory deck from an explorer or grand marquis you can do what i did and make your own, just get a coat hanger and cut two pieces, bend into really long u's and there you go.
p.s. i think i saw you on the road the other day. red van? edit: crap i thought i was being original, but BRG beat me to it |
