7 speaker Front Stage Set up ?

i am doing 3 way up front, 2 or 3 way In rear in original locations in a dodge ram QC. I am going for SQ
My question is with the rear speaker hook up.
would i use a 4 channel amp to run Dash speakers as Front and Front doors as Rear and get another 2 channel amp for the rear doors? or would i connect the rear to the front, but than i think i need a 8 ohm Door speakers to create a 4 ohms?
What would be my Best option?

I thought that if a judge hears only Bass from the Back than you could be deducted points Thats why i want to go with Rear components

You do potentially lose points if the bass is identified as coming from the back. You will lose many more points if the highs sound like they come from the back too. Most competition systems do not use rear speakers.
If you want sound in the back, add some basic coaxials on low/deck power but be sure you can fade them out when needed.

so if i use 3 way components would i use the passive crossover that comes with them or use an active crossover?
and what exactly is an Active crossover? an electric Crossover? Do i have to add caps to any of the Components?

Depends on your budget. You need passive crossovers if you want to run more than one speaker per amplifier channel. You will have better control of the system if you run active with an electronic crossover.

Some people will keep a capacitor inline with tweeters and small mids even when running an active setup as additional protection from overpowering/distortion but they are not essential.
