Yep, thats it. You can buy them at Walmart or make them out of a wire coat hanger or even use 2 of those little precision screw drivers. See the 2 little holes on either side of the deck? You insert the tool them apart (I believe) while pulling on the deck, very simple.
I supported the back of my HU behind the ashtray, there is a metal bar behind there. To get the tray out you 1st pull out the actual tray then underneath there are 4 phillips or torx screws you remove allowing the metal bracket to come out. While you're at it you should go to the wreckers and get the cupholders out of any 91or92 to 94 Towncar. You need the metal bracket from the TC too. It will just bolt right in place and you'll have cup holders. I think you can get them from 93-94 Grand Marqs too.

dude... a Cavi is more like a 5 or something - yeah it takes a bit of disassembly but it's certainly not hard..

I would say my 98 Saturn Sl1 would be an 8 cause its just 2 tabs on the sides then take out the trim.

never said a cavi was hard. infact I have yet to see anything caraudio related that was hard. maybe time consuming, but not hard. im not a chunk when it comes to cars.
