Anyone with experience in doing an install in this? Silverado would suit the ability to answer my questions just as well.

First of all it's a 2006 GMC Sierra Ext Cab SLE
How the **** do you route RCA's in the dash? There's just no nook to fish through, Maybe I'm retarded.. entirely possible but I just don't see an effective location. Do I need to remove more trim than the cluster cowl if so where and how?
Good location to ground out the head unit in the dash cavity? The metal plate in there looks like it's just a bracket to fasten the plastic trim together so I doubt grounding there is going to do me any good. Am I missing something? I may just solder some wire on and run it to a battery I'll be putting behind the rear seat....
And on that note, How much clearance is there behind the seat lets say up to 12-14 inches up from the bed?
Thanks for your time.

Shine a flashlight towards the deck cavity from under the dash and "go towards the light". Does your wiring harness not have a ground in it? If you have to run a ground make it as short as possible and attach under dash somewhere.
Couldn't help u with the clearance behind the seat without vehicle to measure. Good luck

I like redundancy especially in an install I want to last at least 5 years or more. So I have the ground run to the vehicle harness with a wire tapped off of it that I want to ground to the chassis but I solved that issue and was able to fish RCAs using a lot of string >_<
Only question that hasnt been answered is how much clearance I have behind the rear seat.. which is the big one, I'd love to hear its 5-6" but it has me worried, just hoping for the best at this point.
