adding more speakers in the car

ok this is wat i got:
MTX MXA-6001
300 WATTS RMS INTO 4 OHMS
600 WATTS RMS INTO 2 OHMS
BUILT IN CROSSOVER 40HZ - 200HZ
ADJUSTABLE BASS BOOST

ok this is wat i got:

That's a class D mono amp.
Which means, that's a sub amp (only running 20-200hz)
You're using that to run your rear fill?
If you are already running two speakers you are already giving it a 2 ohm load (and you are giving your 6x9s insane power)

Don't add more speakers to that. That will drop the impedance to 1 ohm.
you could wire the speakers in a combination of series and parallel to give you a 4 ohm load. Then each speaker will only see 75wrms each.
But really, that amp is not the best amp for you application.

If that really is the amp you have, ditch the 6 x 9s and get a pair of subs - something that can handle the 300 wrms that the amp will feed it.

ya thats the amp i have
and its already hooked up to 2 12" pioneer subs
i havent connected the 2 6x9 speakers yet....
but really want to add them though
