All I need is....an Amp

Hey guys, Im new to this forum, but as always im dedicated to awesome car audio!

Alright so basically I need some opinion and questions answered.

Speakers:
4x ALPINE SPR-17C
http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products/product.php?model=SPR-17C
General
• Sensitivity: 87dB / W(1m)
• Impedence: 4 Ohms
• Frequency Response: 65Hz - 27kHz
Power Handling
• Power Handling Capacity (Peak): 300 Watts
• Power Handling Capacity (RMS): 100 Watts
• CEA-2031 Power Rating: 100 Watts

Head Unit:
Pioneer 5900IB with Ipod Control
Pretty self explanatory lol.

Ok, so thats all I have for now, I need an amp I was thinking along the lines of a good alpine amp. I dont know if I should get a mono , 2ch or 4ch? I want those subs to kick nicely, I ran it in my buddies crappy no name 5+ year old amp and it kicked HAAARD I'm going to want to wire all the speakers to the amp to get that amazing alpine sound quality. I want to hear my music clearly and get that bass to be noticable aswell(outside anyone?). I went with those alpine speakers because I decided to go all out and go for superb sound quality and if its overpowered by the sub then there really is no point. In all, I want my system to sound equally distributed between sound quality + bass and at sometimes crank the bass like crazy(I can just change the option on my deck right?). I'm also going to need to know what kind of wiring kit to buy to handle all this(how many gauge, etc). Should I buy a capacitor? Anyone know where a good and relatively cheap place to get my stuff installed in the GTA? Im leaning towards bestbuy right now as they have amp installations for $75 with all the wiring done(supposably?) Alright thanks guys!

I agree with the "at least" part. You'd be happier with a little more power.
Read what that Polk manual says about speakers being damaged from trying to get too much volume from too little power.
And you need "at least" the F450 for the other 4 speakers. Again, I'd go for more. Headroom is a good thing.

You'd need a 5 channel amp to do that and you'd be hard pressed to find one that produces over 500 watts for any reasonable price. You're better off getting a mono block amp for the subs and a 4 channel amp for the speakers.

How does this sound an alpine Alpine MRP-M650
Mono subwoofer Class-D car amplifier
Frequency Response: 20Hz - 200Hz (+3/-3dB)
400 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (600 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms)
Variable low-pass filter (50-200 Hz, 24 dB/octave)
Tuned Bass EQ (0-12 dB bass boost at 50 Hz)
Subsonic filter (24 dB at 15 Hz)

And maybe an Alpine MRP-F450 for the speakers
4-channel car amplifier
70 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms (100 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms)
200 watts RMS x 2 bridged output at 4 ohms (4-ohm stable in bridged mode)
2-, 3-, or 4-channel output
variable high-pass/low-pass filters (50-400 Hz, 12 dB/octave)
tuned Bass EQ (12 dB bass boost at 50 Hz for channels 3 & 4)
subsonic filter (15 Hz, 24 dB/octave for channels 3 & 4)

Im thinking that maybe I should go all out and get the 850 for the Subs, but I dont really wanna shell out $400 for just that lol. So for this setup i'd need two amp kits right. How many Gauges should they be?

What level gauge amp kit should I get for the amp (subs) and what level should I get for the other amp (speakers). Ive decided to buy the ALPINE MRP-F450 for the speakers and a Alpine MRP-M850 for the speakers.

Should I get some Capacitors tooooo?

Forget the capacitor. Do the big three instead. Running 4 gauge is good for both amps (I think the MRP M450 will take it). If you get a dual amp kit make sure you're getting two runs of 4 guage to the amp.
