hey guys,

I recently picked up an Alpine 9835 and finally got my system installed in my 93 Celica. I needed some help adjusting the crossover as i don't fully understand how it works.

My speaker/amp configuration:

HU: Alpine CDA-9835
Front Speakers: 4" Speakers in dash, Tweeter on door, 8" mid bass on door (RF P1's)
Rear Speakers: 6.5's
Sub: IDmax 12"

Amps:
I'm using two amps one to power the 8's and the other for the sub.

I'm not sure where to set frquencies and slopes. If someone could please help me out that would be great. I'm looking for overall Sound Quality with a little bump. Right now i have the front and rears crossed at 160hz and the sub at 80hz. I'd like the bass only from the sub and the midbass drivers in the doors. From the other speakers i would like clean crisp highs as much as i can get.

Thanks in advance

how do you have the speakers wired in your car. the sound your wanting you will probably only get if you run the deck in 3way mode but then you would lose your rear speakers. you could always just mess with the xover settings and try to setup some sort of passive xover for the door mids.
