It sounds like you have the iPod video cable from a D106 for your D105. Usually a KCE-415i would have been used for video. It may work. Give this a shot...

1. Source the Alpine to iPod, without the pod plugged in.

2. Get the video on the pod to play first, then plug it into the Alpine.
(you have to do this because the D105 does not have the video 'handshake' circuitry built in as the D106/W505's)

3. Use V.SEL on the D105 and switch it to the Aux video input that you are using.

Ahh ive tryed your same method, put the video on first then plugged it in, but never tryed aux!

I just tryed the methods out today and still no luck! ill try this one today

If not im getting a rear view camera installed tomorrow ill ask them while the decks out to see if they can fix it

i just use the ipod video cable from apple, works nicely.
